steamd vegetables with cocotte

This saucepan is called cocotte. This amount will take twenty
minutes to cook. |
1.Chop the onion into tiny pieces.
Put the fat of Foie gras in the cocotte saucepan and set it over medium
heat. Add the cut-up onion and fry.
The can Foie gras has rich fat. Don't throw it away. If you don't have
it,you can use lard.
2.Cut the other vegetables into small square.(like a dice)
3.Put the vegetable the following in order (carrots,potetos,greenbeans,kidney
beans,zucchini)
and fry with the onion.
4.Fry them few minites and add the thym,romarin,solt, and pepper.
5.Cover with the lid and let cook ( low heat ) for 20 minutes.
Don't fry them too much. you want to use remaining heat and turn the heat
off. Don't add any water.
